All other August products carry 12 month return to base warranty covering costs of parts and labour.
If your August product purchased with faulty and/or develops a defective within the warranty period, it can be returned to our Customer Service Centre for repair or replacement. You will need to contact us to obtain a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number before you return the product to us.
Our Customer Service Centre will process the warranty with the following criteria and options:
- Replace the faulty product by a brand new unit if the return is with 14 days after purchase;
- Repair the product or provide a replacement with a refurbished unit if the return is over 14 days after purchase;
- Replace the product by an upgraded model if the product returned is discontinued and charge the customer difference if the price of the upgraded model is higher.
Our warranty does not apply to any misuse, excessive wear and tear and commercial use. Please note that if the product is opened and repaired other than by staff in Customer Service Centre or an agent authorised by August International Ltd, the warranty will become void.
A product repaired and returned to customer will carry the original warranty period from the date the product purchased.
Please keep the receipt of purchase and send a copy as which will be needed as a proof of the purchase date.
In case returned products are outside warranty, August Customer Service Centre reserves the right to charge for any repairs or refuse to repair the unit and/or invoice all service and transport costs for send the either repaired or un-repaired unit back to the customer.
