The AUG VGB200 USB 2.0 S-Video/Composite video Capture Cable lets you connect devices that output S-Video or Composite video to a computer through an available USB 2.0 port. The cable also features two channel RCA stereo audio inputs that let you capture the audio accompanying the S-Video or Composite video signal.

I cannot get any picture or sound.


Plug the VGB200 directly into a USB port and not a USB hub.
Click “Device Settings” and select the video standard which matches your source device.
If you are using a SCART adaptor, check that it is bi-directional, it will have an IN/OUT switch that must be set to out.

I cannot find my licence key to install the Software

 


The software licence key is printed on the back of the CD case, unfortunately we are not able to replace these.

“iGrabber Device” does not appear in Source options.

Please follow the steps below to re-install the driver for VGB200 manually.

1. Enter Device Manager from the Control Panel.
2. Expand “Sound, video and game controllers”. If the devices “iGrabber” appear with a warning triangle, right click on these devices and select "Uninstall", check the box "delete the driver software....", then click OK.
3. Click "Action" from the tool bar on the top of Device Manager window, select "Scan for hardware changes"
4. A “USB Device” device with a yellow mark should appear in Device Manager. Right click these devices, select "Update driver software".
5. Click "Browse my computer for driver software".
6. Browse to "Driver" folder on the CD or downloaded and unzipped driver folder.
7. Click "Next".

I can only capture the video in mpeg2 format/I cannot select any other formats.

The available saved formats depend on the decoding library on the computer.
The software allows you to convert a video file to another format. Please follow the instructions below.

Step 1: In “Edit” module, click “Open” icon and browse to your video file.

 

Step 2: Drag the video file to the Storyboard.

Step 3: Select the “Produce” tab and click “Create File”.

Step 4: Choose your desired file format and adjust settings to suit.
Step 5:  Set the “Save to” to the desired destination folder.
Step 6: Click “Start” to begin conversion.
