The DA100 is a 10-inch, compact TV with full HD LCD display fitting into a perfect 16:9 cinematic frame for authentic viewing. The aspect ratio is digitally adjustable, as is the resolution and brightness to tweak the small screen to perfection.

When using a TV outside or on the move it is vital to have settings that counter glare, changing light and signal loss. That is why we engineered the DA100 with customisable settings and multiple input methods so you can keep kids in the car happy just as easily as add a second monitor to a portable workstation or watch TV in the garden.

The DA100 is self-sufficient with mains power adaptor, internal speakers, included aerial and port, and integrated Freeview tuner. This Portable TV with Freeview delivers all you need to catch up on Live TV at any time.

Portable Freeview TV Reception

Providing TV to the nation wherever we can and to as many people as we can has been a goal of August for many years. The DA100 is a cornerstone of this vision and supplies an all-inclusive way of accessing Freeview anywhere (With DVB-T2 Reception). HD Freeview has never looked as good as it does when scaled to a 10-inch TV maintaining its proper aspect ratio and contrast. We manufactured a complete TV experience, just smaller.

EPG and TV Options

The size of the DA100 hasn’t reduced its’ functionality. On the contrary, the DA100 can access TV features like Red Button (Where applicable) and subtitles. To make watching Live or scheduling recordings as accessible as possible, the DA100 features a fully interactive EPG. An EPG is an Electronic Program Guide and shows the week’s programmes clearly for you to browse on screen.

USB and SD Card TV Ports

This TV with a USB and SD card port allows direct playback of music and video from your local storage devices! Store video on USB or Micro-SD and play immediately on the DA100 with no channel scanning or reception needed. In signal blackouts, long tunnels and extreme camping trips you can still access digital entertainment this way. In addition, we want guardians to have the option of a restricted bank of content for road trips, rather than Live TV.

Rechargeable TV On the Go

Using the included main power adaptor, you can watch the DA100 while connected. However, using rechargeable batteries can provide up to 4 hours of content completely wirelessly. To keep the case slim and light the DA100 is designed without an integrated battery bank, instead using your own AAA-sized batteries. Please Note: Do not connect the mains power adaptor while batteries are inserted into the DA100.

Small TV that Records Freeview

One final feature programmed in to this little unit is the PVR function familiar to users of our Set Top Boxes and USB TV Tuners. The DA100 can schedule recordings directly from the EPG or choose a set time to record in the future. By recording Live TV on to a USB stick you can store and rewatch shows or movies at will. Please Note: The USB port is available for TV recording; the SD card is strictly for Multimedia purposes and cannot record Live TV.

Q: Channels missing
A: Perform a new Channel Scan, there are regular updates to the Freeview System and sometimes this requires a new channel scan for changes to take effect.

Q: Aerial is loose/falls out easily?
A: This would usually mean the two-prong clamp inside the aerial socket is wider than it should be, this can happen over time.

If you look inside the aerial socket, you will see two metal prongs, using a small tool, you can move these prongs so they are more closed tight.
Once this is done, this will make the socket clamp down more on the aerial connector.

Q: Green Light flickering
A: This would mean the power supply is not from the original adaptor supplied. Please only use the supplied power supply for the product.

Q: Can I use any batteries?
A: Yes, but do not connect the TV to your mains if you do not have rechargeable batteries inside the TV battery compartment. We always recommend using rechargeable batteries over non-rechargeable batteries

Q: Can I record TV channels?
A: Yes, with a USB Memory Stick plugged inside the USB Slot, you can record Freeview Channels directly, we recommend using a USB 2.0 only and set to NTFS mode.
